eGovernment 2017 and beyond
As the term has developed throughout the past nine weeks there has been much information passed about eGovernment and its impact on the current government system and how it works. Constant changes throughout the past decade of how technology has directly affected the way governments both locally and federally have run. Reaching the citizens and keeping them more involved within changes in policies and big impacts that affect them is the bottom line goal that needs to be achieved with an eGovernment system. The year is 2017 currently and I believe eGovernment is truly just getting started with how far it can go making easy and accessible services for its citizens. The following video was made in 2015 and all of the points within the video saying by the end of 2017 have come true. Now of course the system is not perfect right now but when making major overhaul to government and reform those changes do not come quickly.
