As the term has developed throughout the past nine weeks there has been much information passed about eGovernment and its impact on the current government system and how it works. Constant changes throughout the past decade of how technology has directly affected the way governments both locally and federally have run. Reaching the citizens and keeping them more involved within changes in policies and big impacts that affect them is the bottom line goal that needs to be achieved with an eGovernment system. The year is 2017 currently and I believe eGovernment is truly just getting started with how far it can go making easy and accessible services for its citizens. E-Government being a 21st century movement is very new and constantly changing so it is only right there is a set standard of ethics involved with it as it moves forward. How does one go about creating a framework of what an ethical system looks like and what it will contain? Looking at America as a whole you can make a fair assumption that the large majority of the population is digitally connected and there is an effort made to provide internet access to a large portion of the population. If you were to compare America's ease of internet access to other less developed nations the disparity would shock you. There are billions of pieces of "data" all across the world but is all data created equal? How do we break down the classification of data and what can we do as citizens and public administrators to funnel this data for good and positive uses? Luckily within the past couple of years there has been a data revolution going on and many young tech savvy citizens are jumping on board. From data collected about how many taxi cars are in a certain city to the exact population of a city the data is out there it just needs to be presented in the right manner. We all know the younger generations are all very tech savvy and seem to be either constantly glued to some sort of screen throughout most of the day. Now how can we use technology to help better society through teaching our youth the importance of democracy and eventually one day replace our parents generation? Through gaming of course because it seems their is a vast amount of the youth enamored with "gaming" so why not use this multi-billion dollar industry to help educate young adults on the importance of decision making in the form of a game. Imagine people displaying their tweets about how they do not agree with the constitution and having arguments over a certain "Bill of Rights"? Technology has brought us a long way since the foundation of this country in 1776.
